Gorran, Islamic Movement discuss forming broad front for opposition
On December 25, 2017, a delegation from the Islamic Movement in Kurdistan visited the headquarters of the Change Movement in the city of Sulaimani . The delegation included a number of members from the Political Bureau and leadership of the movement.
In a meeting attended by the heads of the movement's National and General Council and Abdullah Mala Noori, one of the movement's prominent activists, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between Gorran and the Islamic Movement, as well as shared positions of the two parties on political issues in the past.
The delegation of the Islamic Movement talked about the project presented by the movement on forming a broad front for the opposition. The two sides expressed their support for the formation of the front, provided that it has an impact on the political situation and contributes to improving the living conditions of the citizens. |
