Gorran calls for forming National Salvation Government
The General Council of the Change Movement held a meeting to discuss the situation in the Kurdistan region after the referendum.
Following the meeting, Dr. Rauf Osman, head of the council told Kurdish News Network ( KNN) that the referendum had dire consequences which left Kurdistan facing real problems.
" what made Baghdad to take such stances and send forces to Kurdistan region was Barzani who refused to listen to our demands and that of Baghdad and the international community. The consequences which Gorran warned about came true and left Kurdistan with another terrible crisis. What has happened now does not demonstrate the failure of our people and the Kurdish nation, rather it is the defeat of the authority and officials who caused the biggest crisis and disaster to the Kurdish people . Therefore, the Kurdistan presidency must be dissolved and a national salvation government be formed to overcome the current situation" He added. |
