The General Assembly of the Change Movement convened
The General Assembly of the Change Movement convened at the main headquarters of the Change Movement in Sulaimani to discuss several pressing issues.
Before the meeting, the members of general assembly visited the tomb of the late Nawshirwan Mustafa to place a wreath at his tomb.
The meeting started with a minute of silence to pay tribute for the passing away of Nawshirwan Mustafa.
The head of the general assembly read a report in which he briefed the attendance over the series of meetings that the movement has started within its organizations.
He also pointed out that the Change Movement has made all necessary preparations for any upcoming steps and political developments.
For his part, Gorran's National Assembly Secretary Jamal Haji Mohammed gave a speech in the meeting, saying " This is the first meeting following the passing away of Kak Nawshirwan. Our movement has convened with all its organizations on how to work following the death of Nawshirwan Mustafa. The National Assembly will convene next Saturday to discuss the report of the General Assembly and the outcome of the series of meetings it held ".
