The National Council of the  Change Movement(Gorran)  on Thursday discussed the proposals of the General Council over preparations for the Kurdistan Parliamentary elections, the results of the elections of the Iraqi Council of Representatives,  the organizational structure of the movement  and the internal elections.

On 12 July 2018, the National Council of the Change Movement held a meeting under the supervision of the General Coordinator, Omar Saiyd  Ali, at  Gorran's main Headquarters in Sulaimani .
 
The National Council announced in a statement  issued after the meeting that the leadership of the Change Movement  will be reorganized in the fields of political, organizational, administrative, financial and media work. The conference will also be held in the presence of the change members in Erbil, Sulaimani, Halabja, Dohuk and Kirkuk and the formation of a higher committee in order to prepare for the elections of the Parliament of Kurdistan scheduled to be held on the 30th of September.

It also stated  that the  Change Movement  stands with all its will against the plots of counterfeit powers that impose their dominance .
 The statement thanked and appreciated  intellectuals, writers and personalities who drew serious criticism of the movement.

 "We will not allow Gorran to divert from its fundamental
 principles and goals under any condition or obstacle" the statement added.

The movement added that it will take all legal, political and diplomatic means to correct the results of the elections of the Iraqi Parliament , saying: "We will announce our position to the public after the announcement of the final results."
