General Coordinator calls on UNAMI to closely monitor upcoming elections

On Monday, August 6th, the general coordinator of the Change Movement ( Gorran) received   a  UNAMI delegation headed by UNAMI Regional Representation Office head, Ricardo Rodriguez at Gorran's main headquarter in Sulaimani.

In a meeting also attended by Gorran's Diplomatic Relations Room coordinator, Hoshyar Omer Ali and other diplomatic room members, Omer Sayid Ali briefed the delegation about the current economic and political situation in Kurdistan Region, Calling on UNAMI to closely monitor the  upcoming parliamentary election in Kurdistan Region to guarantee fair  election and prevent rigging.

The two sides  also discussed the latest political development in Kurdistan Region and Iraq particularly the  consequences after Iraq's May 12 election.
