KCP, Gorran discuss upcoming Kurdistan Parliament elections

A senior delegation from the Kurdistan Communist Party ( KCP) including a number of politburo members visited today June 19 , the main headquarters of the Change Movement ( Gorran). They were received by Jalal Jawhar, member of the executive body and several members from the National Council.

The visit aimed at strengthening ties between both sides and exchanging views over how to deal with the results of the recent Iraqi parliamentary elections.

The two sides also discussed preparations for the upcoming Kurdistan parliamentary elections scheduled for September 30.

KCP is among six other parties which rejected the May 12 elections results   .
