Four Kurdish Opposition Parties decided to team up in Baghdad
Following a meeting held on Sunday August 26 , the four Kurdish parties(The Change Movement (Gorran), the Kurdistan Islamic Group (KIG), Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), Coalition for Justice and Democracy (CDJ), decided to form a new coalition calling for reconsidering the political and administrative process in Iraq on the basis of consensus, partnership, social conscience, balance, public services, human rights, transparency, sovereignty, and rule of law.
In a joint statement they said that the goal of the formation of the coalition is to insist on resolving the differences of the Kurdistan region and Baghdad.
It also stressed that it demands to address the salaries of employees of Kurdistan, and works to restore prestige and joint administration in the disputed areas during their talks with political parties.
