KDP thugs attack Gorran campaigning
A number of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) thugs assaulted candidates and supporters of the Change List No. 142 inside the Shaqlawa district of Erbil province while campaigning for the list's programs.
On Friday, April 27, 2018, supporters and candidates of the Change Movement launched the electoral propaganda center for Change List No. 142 in the district of Shaqlawa in Erbil province.
"After we opened the electoral campaign center, we visited the Shaqlawa market and started campaigning for our list, but a number of the (KDP) thugs attacked candidates and supporters of change and created chaos within the market ," said Kawa Mohammed, in a statement.
He added that what happened against them in Shaqlawa, in the area of Hajj Omran and Mahalah (Tirawah) in Erbil, indicates the "political and moral bankruptcy" of the authorities of the Kurdistan Region, which considers the movement of change a direct threat to its existence.
