The Change Movement (Gorran) faction in Kurdistan parliament responds to the Turkish PM decision to keep flight ban on Sulaymaniyah airport described it as 'baseless and political decision."

According to the statement released by Gorran faction on Friday, the decision by Turkish Prime Minister, Binali  Yildirim, on the resumption of flights to Erbil airport and excluding Sulaymaniyah is "baseless irrational decision."

"We strongly condemn the decision, Sulaymaniyah people were sacrificed and fought against terror in their political struggle, and all activity that took place in solidarity for Afrin is part of our national supportive toward our brothers in other parts of Kurdistan." the statement read.

The Gorran faction also stated that the Turkish move is an effort  against Kurdish nation and to create a division in Kurdistan region adding that: "we call on KRG to not subjugated to Turkish decision, otherwise we hold KRG for decision's negative impacts."
