Gorran lawmakers call for summoning of the Czech Consul General


As a protest against Turkey’s request to extradite former co-chair of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Salih Muslim and his arrest by Czech Republic police,  Gorran calls  for summoning of the Czech consul general in Erbil.

The Change Movement (Gorran) lawmakers  in the Kurdistan Region parliament wrote  a letter on Monday (February 26) to the presidency of the parliament through which they called on the KRG to  summon  the Czech consul general in Erbil to provide an explanation for the arrest of Salih Muslim.

Describing Turkey’s request to extradite Mr. Salih Muslim to the country as" illegal".
