Gorran: All options remain open
The National Council of the Change Movement( Gorran) held its regular meeting on Saturday 26 \ 5 in the main headquarters of the movement in Sulaimani to discuss the latest political developments in the Kurdistan region, the process of elections of the Iraqi Council of Representatives and the systematic fraud carried out by the KDP and the PUK.
In a three-point statement issued after its meeting on Saturday, the council decided to condemn systematic fraud by the KDP and PUK also condemned the cowardly attack by PUK fighters on the headquarters of the Change Movement in Sulaimani on the evening of May 12.
"We reject the overall results of the elections of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, at the same time, we are waiting for legal procedures and diplomatic and political attempts to re-election in the provinces of Kurdistan, Kirkuk and Mosul or correct the results and restore the real votes of the people of Kurdistan, otherwise all options will be open to the movement of change, including the boycott of the political process. The decision to withdraw will be in coordination with the Alliance for Democracy and Justice, the Kurdistan Islamic Union , the Islamic Group, the Kurdistan Islamic Movement and the Communist Party." the statement read.
The Change Movement also called on all political forces to form a broad front for bringing about "radical changes" in the Kurdistan Region.
