8.1 Natural resources
8.1.1
Natural resources, under or over ground belongs to the people of Kurdistan without discrimination. The parliament considering the power of the federal government, is the highest authority to make decision about the way to use this wealth and how to protect it.
8.1.2
Creating a general map for exploring, testing, extracting and how to maintain the natural resources to serve the people of Kurdistan and the future generations.
8.1.3
Assigning a specified amount of the natural wealth be it oil, gas or minerals such as iron for the regions that have the natural resources so to execute projects to revive and carrying out constructions projects. They should also be re-compensated for the damage to their environment.
8.1.4
Creating a general map for the protection the over ground and underground water resources, creating dams for the water projects for gardening, farming and the environment.
